Agnico Eagle Technology Specialist; Operation

Position: Agnico Eagle Technology Specialist (Operation)
Agnico Eagle seeks an Operation Technology Specialist to enhance process control systems using PLCs and AVEVA software. Bring your expertise to optimize IT and OT integrations for improved performance.

Reporting to the Supervisor of Operation Technology, you will help achieve departmental objectives while ensuring compliance with Agnico Eagle’s culture and Health & Safety practices. You should have at least five years of experience in industrial process controls, along with strong skills in deploying technical improvements and maintaining critical IT resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program PLC and AVEVA components for operations

• Create solutions to address industrial control issues

• Support with developing and maintaining HMI templates

• Monitor and maintain Ethernet switches and OT servers

• Provide insight and advise management on tech decisions

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in Advanced Process Controls

• Expertise in SCADA and AVEVA system platform

• Competence in computer and server configuration

• Experience with Historian databases management

• Background in the Mineral Processing industry
