Service Coordinator - Ocean, NJ

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC is part of the Sonepar group, the world’s #1 electrical distributor. We offer electrical products and services to contractors throughout the Northeast and are seeking a motivated Service Coordinator to support our team.

What You Will Do
  • Answer incoming calls and emails.
  • Route, schedule, and communicate with technicians using scheduling software.
  • Create detailed estimates for emergency service and repair work.
  • Follow‑up on all estimates sent to customers until closure.
  • Source and secure parts for routine maintenance, repairs, and emergency services.
  • Review customer accounts for past‑due balances prior to scheduling work.
  • Coordinate return of unused or defective parts.
What You Will Bring
  • Strong customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and present solutions to a customer.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Ability to operate computers and relevant software.
  • Ability to prioritize needs in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Physical ability to sit for much of the shift while using phones and computers.
  • This job is performed primarily in an office environment.
Salary & Compensation

Hourly: $21/hr – $25/hr, depending on experience.

Location

Ocean, NJ

Work Hours

Monday – Friday, rotating on‑call hours.
