The Spirit Of The PositionDo you love driving cars? Meeting new people? Are you energetic and fast on your feet? We are looking for you. A Valet Attendant plays a significant role in our success. You are the first and last point of contact for clients.
What Will I Do?- Park and retrieve cars efficiently and with care. Greet customers by name, attend to their needs, and build rapport.
- Direct traffic to keep the flow clean and organized.
- Work independently when needed and with or without supervision.
- Promote outstanding customer relations. Smile, go above and beyond, and make customers love LAZ Parking.
- Dynamic – charismatic, energetic, and eager to help.
- Dependable – reliable; you never disappoint.
- A good driver with a clean driving record, careful with others' property, able to drive standard transmissions.
- Good under pressure; enjoys challenge.
- Strong communicator; speaks, reads, and comprehends English easily.
- A team player who supports and motivates teammates.
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Experience- Strong customer service experience.
- Cash handling experience preferred but not required.
- Parking industry experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to drive a manual shift vehicle.
- Professional and effective communication.
- Flexibility to work multiple facility locations.
- Ability to handle challenging and emotionally charged situations.
- Work unsupervised and make independent decisions.
- Sense of urgency and timeliness.
- Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.
- Work outside in all elements.
- Lift, push, pull at least 25 pounds.
- Stand, walk, run for extended periods.
- Bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
