Parts Advisor — Paint and Bodyshop — Ascot — Up to £34,000 per year — Permanent role

We are recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join a busy paint and bodyshop in Ascot. This is a hands-on, permanent position supporting the day-to-day flow of parts within a fast-paced automotive repair environment. The role would suit someone who enjoys being organised, working closely with technicians, and keeping jobs moving efficiently.

This position may also suit candidates who have worked as a Parts Controller, Automotive Parts Specialist, Service Parts Advisor, or in vehicle repair, accident repair, or dealership environments.

Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00;
One in three Saturdays 07:00 to 12:00

• Manage ordering, receiving, and issuing of vehicle parts
• Liaise with suppliers, technicians, and workshop staff
• Ensure correct parts are available for scheduled repairs
• Monitor stock levels and keep records up to date
• Handle returns, warranties, and parts queries
• Support the smooth running of the paint and bodyshop

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Parts Advisor or similar role
• Background in automotive, bodyshop, accident repair, or dealership settings
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident communication skills and a team-focused approach
• Ability to work in a fast-moving workshop environment

This role could be a great fit if you have experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Controller, Service Advisor with parts exposure, or if you have worked in vehicle repair, paint and bodyshops, accident repair centres, or automotive dealerships. Experience managing stock, suppliers, or workshop coordination will transfer well.
