Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a Finance Manager who can operate across a number of countries. This role will be based in the Head Office in Ascot and will be fully office based.
Role Summary
Responsible for managing all aspects of the finance function and maintaining the financial records of UK and US entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsible for the accounting across the business, and you'll need strong business partnering capabilities to engage with non-finance colleagues and with external advisors.

Key accountabilities of the role

• Being the go-to person for all things accounting across the business

• Ensuring the large volume of tasks and queries are managed effectively, within a timely resolution, and aligned to the timetable key to successful delivery

• Facilitating a collaborative working environment, managing regular dialogue to implement new processes and drive improved performance

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Supporting the directors with business insight

• Adding value to the business through excellent financial and operational understanding of the business, offering actionable ideas and initiatives to support future growth

• Ensure all reporting is fit for purpose and appropriate for the intended audience

• Ensure that a strong financial control environment is maintained

Key skills and experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with a number of years PQE

• Good knowledge of UK VAT (essential) and overseas VAT (preferable) in line with a business operating across multiple jurisdictions

• Business partnering skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels

• Ability to take a hands-on approach to get the job done

Strong communication skills both with finance and non-finance professionals
