Ashburn, VA Pay: $19–$22 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Ashburn is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our infant classrooms provide a warm, safe, and developmentally supportive environment where babies learn through nurturing interactions, sensory exploration, and hands-on experiences.

If you have prior experience working in an infant classroom and love supporting children during their earliest stages of development, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a high-quality childcare setting.

• Provide attentive, responsive care to infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, naps, and individualized care needs.
• Implement age-appropriate learning activities that promote sensory, cognitive, and motor development.
• Build trusting relationships with families and provide daily communication regarding each child’s progress.
• Maintain classroom safety, cleanliness, and compliance with Virginia licensing standards.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and center leadership to ensure high-quality care.

• Previous experience working in an infant classroom required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Coursework or certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for infants.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Must meet all Virginia childcare licensing requirements.
