Senior Project Manager - Land Development

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Land Development practice in the NOVA/DC area!

Responsibilities
  • Lead a Land Development team while building and managing relationships with key clients.
  • Lead with integrity and sound business principles; provide vision, business planning, and strategy; establish goals.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships, maintaining open communication with partners and team.
  • Grow and lead a land development practice.
  • Manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, act as a positive leader and mentor.
  • Lead, direct, and grow business with autonomy.
  • Earn rewards in an impressive bonus program with potential to advance to ownership.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners.
  • Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D.
  • Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage and mentor staff, and direct resources effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably.
