Building Automation Project Manager

Location: Northern, VA

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver BMS solutions for data center and mission critical IT customers.
• Manage resources through planning, scheduling, and forecasting manpower and resource requirements.
• Coordinate projects in accordance with contract documents and approved sales estimate.
• Control project documentation including RFIs, meeting minutes, punch lists, transmittal log, submittal log, change order log, and issues log.
• Prepare project billing revenue forecasts and schedules of values.
• Review estimates and change orders for accuracy and approve team project submittals.
• Accountable for financial management on all assigned projects.
• Prepare installation subcontractor bidding documents and negotiate subcontracts.
• Obtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents in accordance with Schneider Electric quality policy.
• Prepare and update project schedule and cost estimates.
• Deliver final project documentation to the customer and collect payment.
• Responsible for all customer-facing communication.

• High performing, highly organized business professional.
• Effective management of complex schedule and budgetary constraints while collaborating with customers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Servant leader and consultative approach.
• At least 3 years in a Project Management role and 5+ years in the controls industry.
• Strong customer service skills and understanding of contracting procedures.
• Advanced understanding of HVAC control systems and ability to analyze control system drawings and schematics.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to empower others.

This position will report to the Program Manager.
