Roles and Responsibilities
  • Guide agile teams in application architecture, including UI, APIs, microservices, databases, and infrastructure.
  • Introduce new technologies and evangelize solutions with peers.
  • Maintain enterprise‑level architecture alignment with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with product architects, tech leads, and developers to create technical solutions within an established framework.
  • Propose and execute proofs‑of‑concept for new technology.
  • Create and maintain architecture diagrams, data models, and dependency tracking.
  • Collaborate with the Sec Dev Ops  team to onboard new applications to cloud infrastructure.
  • Motivate developers, testers, and create an open environment for questions and feedback.
  • Delegate tasks and ensure all daily, sprint, and release goals are achieved.
  • Design solutions in a multi‑tenant cloud architecture supporting legacy .NET, Java, and COTS client/server applications.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, compliance issues, and other architectural concerns.
  • Mentor and coach team members and conduct peer reviews.
  • Review cybersecurity assessments and static code analysis for remediation and quality improvement.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • US citizenship with ability to successfully complete a federal background investigation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of software development experience, including hands‑on architecture and leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Spring, Angular, and Hibernate.
  • Experience operating within cross‑functional teams and groups.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Dev Ops processes and their implications on architectural decisions.
  • Expertise in client‑server, microservices, event‑driven, or layered architectures.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and distributed system concepts.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and secure API design.
  • Familiarity with relational (Postgres) and No

    SQL (Dynamo

    DB, Mongo

    DB) databases.
  • Skilled in software performance optimization and code analysis.
  • Awareness of software security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Preferred Skills
  • Deep experience with Java 17, Spring/Spring Boot, Type Script, UI state management, Hibernate, Postgre

    SQL, nginx, and Amazon AWS.
  • Technical lead experience for one or more product teams.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified:
    Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Experience contributing to enterprise architecture standards and enforcement.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Sec Dev Ops  processes, and tools.
