Senior Test Engineer

Jazz Solutions is seeking a self-motivated Senior Test Engineer to support an essential modernization project for a government agency.

• Participate in test planning
• Perform tasks required for manual and automated test implementation
• Review acceptance criteria
• Create integration and regression test scenarios and test cases
• Implement test data management strategy
• Generate reports in Jira
• Document defects and provide demos
• Provide test effort and schedule estimates
• Provide status updates to executives
• Contribute within a SAFe environment including daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, backlog grooming, sprint/system demos, planning, and Inspect & Adapt events

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 15+ years of testing experience
• 10+ years of test automation experience (API testing with SOAP UI, Post Man, or Ready
  
  API)
• Manual testing, database queries, and writing test cases
• Experience working in software development life cycle
• Experience interacting with the client/customer
• Experience with process improvements
  
  Innovative problem solver
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

• Leadership or mentoring experience guiding junior testers or leading test teams
• Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter or Load Runner
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Experience with mobile application testing and frameworks like Appium; AI exposure
