****** We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Virginia, US as a Datacenter Operations Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our datacenter infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, availability, and performance. You will work closely with a global team of senior engineers and technicians to maintain and troubleshoot datacenter equipment, deploy new hardware and software, and assist with monitoring and documentation tasks.

****** Responsibilities**:**
* ** Assist in the maintenance and support of datacenter infrastructure, including servers, NAS systems, networking devices, Wifi AP's and power distribution units (PDUs).**
* ** Collaborate with senior engineers to deploy new hardware and software in the datacenter environment, ensuring proper installation, configuration, and testing.**
* ** Perform routine equipment inspections and daily maintenance tasks to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations.**
* ** Inventory management - asset tag equipment and keep track of repairs**
* ** Monitor datacenter performance metrics, including temperature, power consumption, and network connectivity, and promptly escalate any anomalies or alarms to the appropriate teams.**
* ** Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, working closely with global, cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution and minimal downtime.**
* ** Contribute to the improvement of operational procedures and documentation, maintaining accurate records of system configurations, changes, and incident reports.**
* ** Collaborate with vendors and service providers to coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance activities**
* ** Support datacenter security protocols, including physical access control, monitoring, and incident response procedures.**
* ** Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to datacenter operations, and actively contribute to continuous learning and professional development.

* ** Ideally, 2 to 3 years experience in an IT support role**
* ** Strong understanding of datacenter infrastructure components, including servers, storage systems, networking devices, and PDUs.**
