District Partners is supporting a major federal modernization program for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This is a high-visibility, long-term effort to rebuild and replace mission-critical applications that support law enforcement, border security, and operational decision-making across DHS. The environment is modern, cloud-native, and designed around microservices, modular architecture, and secure-by-default engineering.
Candidates who do well here typically bring a strong academic foundation from accredited US universities and hands-on experience within reputable engineering or federal contracting environments (Leidos, SAIC, CACI, Boeing, BAE, RTX, etc.). The bar is high, the delivery cadence is fast, and the work has real mission impact.

- Develop reusable UI components and libraries aligned with security and accessibility standards
- Collaborate with backend engineers, Dev Ops, and product owners within an Agile, sprint-based environment
- Contribute to architecture discussions, sprint planning, and peer code reviews
- Deploy front-end applications in a secure cloud environment using CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility, performance, and security requirements
- Experience with React, Angular, or Vue (React preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with Spring Boot or similar service-driven backend environments
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and front-end integration patterns
- Experience working in Agile teams using JIRA, Git, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
Skills:
- Prior DHS, CBP, or federal program experience
- Active or previous clearance (Public Trust, Secret, or higher)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployments
