School Nurse (LPN)

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) that is available for the 2025/2026 school year!

• Active Virginia LPN License
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Ability to participate in any required onsite medical training
• Experience with seizure disorders, mobility assistance, and ADL support preferred

Contract through the school year — 30 hours per week.

Contract follows the academic district calendar.

In-person only | 1:1 School-Based Support.

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to students and staff members as needed.
• Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify health concerns and provide appropriate interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic illnesses or special health needs.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.
• Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics, including illness prevention, nutrition, and hygiene.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address health concerns and promote a healthy school environment.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and serve as a resource for school health policies and procedures.
• Stay up to date on current nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines related to school health services.

$1,300-1,330 per week.
