Responsibilities- Develop processes and procedures to improve quality throughout the organization.
- Perform inspections of finished or in-process goods, analyze data, and identify trends in defects or errors.
- Investigate quality failures and recommend changes to internal procedures to prevent future quality issues.
- Assess and report on the impact of process changes on quality.
- Monitor vendors or suppliers for compliance with established or contracted quality standards.
- Perform work under minimal supervision.
- Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
- Act as a lead when necessary.
- Plan, configure, test, and implement all operational changes to create the release package for the delivery of, or changes to, the designated service.
- Manage all aspects of the end-to-end release process, ensuring coordination of build, test, and release teams.
- Ensure teams follow the organization’s established policies and procedures.
- Provide configuration management planning.
- Support the configuration change operational and approval process.
- Support the quality assurance process audits.
- Provide management reports on release progress.
- Plan service roll out, including method of deployment and communication implementation in coordination with the CBP Change Operational Process.
- Ability to obtain a CBP Background Investigation/clearance – required for consideration. Some billets may require DoD Secret or Top Secret access.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL v3, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA, Change Management.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Networking, and Telecommunications.
- Minimum eight (8) plus years of experience in an equivalent technical field.
