Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is hiring Servers/Food Runners for our restaurants in Ashburn, Virginia. Our senior living community takes the time to really get to know each other, and we strive to create engaging and memorable experiences. Come join our team and have fun!

As a Food Runner/Server
, you are responsible for serving residents and guests meals in a friendly, service-oriented manner. The server records and inputs beverage and food orders into the POS system delivers and serves food, and ensures exceptional guest service. This position requires the ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency. Assignments include Serving, Busser, Runner, Meal Plater, Catering and Utility.

• Compensation: pay range starting for full time is $16 an hour, commensurate with experience
• Part-time hours are available in our Pub Restaurant
• Work shift schedules are typically 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm

• Onsite medical centers, providing wellness visits and sick care for all team members over 18 years of age

• Become a subject matter expert on menu items, daily specials, and preparation methods
• Engage with our residents and their guests by sharing daily menu highlights and offering recommendations based on knowing their preferences
• Accurately record food and beverage orders and consistently deliver an exceptional dining experience
• Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table
• Delivers food from the kitchen to the correct tables and seat positions
• Communicates any additional information from the guest to the server
• Assists servers in clearing soiled dishes

• Prior service and/or kitchen experience is preferred, but we will train
• Friendly and energetic communication skills.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods, carry trays, and lift up to 25 pounds
• A solid work ethic and a positive, team attitude
