Account Executive, Army
The Account Executive is responsible for business development, account expansion, and sales growth across Army organizations and programs. This position is responsible for selling Raven Tek's professional services, managed services, technology products, and full-stack solutions to new and existing Army customers. The Account Executive builds trusted relationships with Army stakeholders, maintains consistent communication, and delivers exceptional customer service to ensure mission requirements and client expectations are met or exceeded.
This role identifies, qualifies, and pursues new opportunities while expanding existing programs and contract relationships. They will work closely with Raven Tek's internal teams and strategic partners to align the company's capabilities with Army mission priorities, acquisition strategies, technical requirements, and financial objectives. The position plays a pivotal role in driving revenue, positioning Raven Tek's professional services and technology portfolio, and strengthening the company's overall value proposition throughout the Army territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities.
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and demonstrate the products and service solutions Raven Tek can provide.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create client and technology specific documentation and materials.
- Achieve sales objectives through sales to new customers and sales of additional services to existing customers.
- Discover client business needs and propose appropriate products or services.
- Develop and maintain an elevated level of knowledge about Raven Tek's products and services.
- Work with key partners to drive associated product revenue.
- Successfully negotiate client contracts.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with associates and customers.
- Provide pre-sales support, including solutions consulting, presentations, and responses to client inquiries to facilitate the successful integration of Raven Tek solutions into the sales process.
- Collaborate with our partner community to introduce Raven Tek's comprehensive solution offering.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM, contributing to the overall sales pipeline management.
- Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
- Complete required compliance training as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to develop a deep understanding of Raven Tek's technical aspects.

Education & Work Experience
- 10+ years selling into US Army territory.
- Bachelor's degree or minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and/or military experience.
- 3 years of information technology and professional services sales experience required.
- Experience working within the Information Technology industry as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Value Added Reseller (VAR).
- Strong network and consulting sales experience.
- Successful past performance selling software, SaaS to US Army.

Work Environment
Employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.
