Data Center Technicians

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
• Test installed cable using Fluke or similar certification testers
• Punch down voice and data jacks
• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, and MDF/IDF infrastructure
• Safely operate ladders and lifts; must be comfortable working at heights
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and system layouts
• Assist with the installation and support of access control, CCTV, audio/visual, and fiber optic systems

• At least 6 months of commercial or industrial low voltage experience
• Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred
• BICSI, OSHA, and lift certifications are a plus
• Must have basic hand tools and required PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots
• Basic understanding of telecommunications and data network fundamentals
• Ability to travel locally to job sites throughout the Ashburn, VA, and Northern Virginia area as needed
