About the Role:

Join Overtime Athletics DMV as a Youth Sports Instructor, where you'll inspire and develop young athletes in a fun and engaging environment. This role is perfect for those passionate about youth sports and dedicated to fostering teamwork, skill development, and a love for physical activity.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate sports programs for children ages 5-12.

Teach basic entry level fundamental sports skills while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.

Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions that keep kids motivated.

Monitor and assess participant progress and provide constructive feedback.

Ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants.

Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development.

Assist in organizing and facilitating sports events and competitions.

Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are safe and ready for use.

Requirements:

Experience in coaching or instructing youth sports is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.

Ability to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.

First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about youth development.

Availability to work afternoons (between 2-5pm) weekdays and weekends as needed.

Background in physical education, sports management, or related field is advantageous.

Reliable transportation to various training school locations in Fairfax, VA. (public transportation is not accepted)
