Delivery Driver

At Excel Logistics, Inc. our Delivery Drivers pick up and deliver documents, packages, and other items as required at commercial, government, and residential locations while in constant communication with our dispatch team. The current shift is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm, however we operate 24/7/365.

• Operate company vehicles in accordance with the law
• Load vehicles, ensuring the correct package is on board
• Communicate effectively with dispatch
• Obtain signatures on all deliveries unless otherwise stated and follow procedure regarding the handling of all documents
• Maintain vehicle logs and report issues regarding vehicle maintenance and safety.
• Maintain professional appearance

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to perform rigorous physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and whole body movement such as standing, reaching, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, carrying over 50 lbs., and repetitive hand motions requiring finger dexterity and hand eye coordination. Ability to hear, speak, and visually inspect are required.

B2B delivery driver experience

Knowledge of the Washington D.C. metropolitan area

Satisfactory completion of background screening, drug screening. Once onboard you will complete: HIPAA training, Bloodborne Pathogen training, OSHA Warehouse training, TSA training, forklift training, clean driving record.
