What You’ll Be Doing
Inizio Engage is looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Scheduler to join our Patient Solutions Client Homecare Programme.
As a Scheduler, you will play an important role in coordinating patient visits and ensuring schedules are safely and effectively covered. You will manage ongoing visit schedules, coordinate patient visit windows and help ensure our nursing resources are used efficiently across both current and future planned visits.
Working closely with the Scheduling Manager, Senior Scheduler and wider Patient Solutions team, you will contribute to the delivery of a safe, responsive and patient-focused scheduling service.
What You’ll Be DoingCoordinate and maintain patient visit schedules from initiation through to completion.
Review and update schedules daily to ensure patient visits are safely covered.
Coordinate patient visit windows and make effective use of available nursing resources.
Triage patient calls and elevate issues appropriately when required.
Respond effectively to changes and contingency situations, always keeping patient safety at the forefront.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams, clients and NHS stakeholders.
Support the Scheduling Manager and Senior Scheduler in achieving operational goals, KPIs and objectives.
Maintain accurate service documentation and follow relevant programme processes, SOPs and compliance requirements.
Attend team meetings and share information and knowledge with colleagues.
Contribute to a collaborative, solution-focused working environment.
What We’re Looking ForYou’ll be someone who enjoys working in a busy environment where organisation, communication and attention to detail really matter.
GCSEs in Maths, English and IT, or equivalent.
Experience scheduling appointments and/or events.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work effectively to regular and tight deadlines.
Excellent written, telephone and face-to-face communication skills.
A proactive, self-driven and solution-focused approach.
Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Ability to recognise when an issue needs to be escalated.
Ability to remain calm and effective when managing changing priorities or contingency situations.
A Levels in English and Maths or equivalent practical college qualifications.
Level 1 Certificate in Business and Administration, Level 2 Diploma in Reception Operations and Services, or a similar qualification.
The successful candidate will also be required to complete satisfactory enhanced DBS and pre-employment checks.
You’ll join a collaborative Patient Solutions team where the work you do helps support the safe and effective delivery of patient care.
