Site Agent

Hays Civil Engineering are partnering with a leading infrastructure contractor delivering a major water transmission project. We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to support the successful delivery of a significant pipeline scheme, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and quality requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project and play a key role in the management of pipeline, tunnelling and associated civil engineering works.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations across pipeline and tunnelling activities
• Manage subcontractors, labour and plant resources
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
• Coordinate confined space activities and permit systems
• Monitor programme performance and drive delivery against key milestones
• Manage site documentation, inspections and reporting requirements
• Work closely with engineering, commercial and project management teams
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with contract specifications and industry regulations

Essential

• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work
• Medium Risk Confined Spaces Certification (City & Guilds / EUSR or equivalent)

Desirable

• High Risk Confined Spaces
• Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator
• EUSR Water Hygiene
• NRSWA Supervisor
