Teacher Active is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Breedon on the Hill with a dedicated SEND hub supporting children with additional needs. The provision supports EYFS and Key Stage 1 / KS1 pupils, providing a focused environment where children can access appropriate support alongside the wider school community.

The school is looking to take on a SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from ASAP until July 2027, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 3:15pm. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will support non-verbal EYFS and KS1 children with learning difficulties, helping them access learning, develop communication and engage positively throughout the school day.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children with SEN / SEND

• Experience working with EYFS and/or Key Stage 1 / KS1 pupils

• Experience supporting non-verbal children and children with learning difficulties

• A patient, caring and supportive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A ‘can-do’ attitude with the willingness to get stuck in
