  • Provide 24/7 maintenance and technical support for rail systems, including planned and unplanned activities.
  • Deliver technical assistance to the telephone helpdesk and support fault diagnosis and resolution.
  • Carry out system engineering activities including design support, factory testing, site installation, and commissioning.
  • Liaise with clients and internal engineering teams to ensure effective communication, service delivery, and contract performance.
  • Produce service and monthly reports, support service review meetings, and assist with contract quotations where required.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of SCADA, BMS, SISS, PLCs, HMIs, and communications protocols.
Technical Support EngineerEssential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
  • Electrical or Technical Engineering qualification (HNC or HND or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge of control systems, systems integration, and PLC technologies (e.g. Siemens, Mitsubishi, Rockwell).
  • Ability to configure, program, and support SCADA/HMI systems and associated protocols.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder and client-facing skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and hold a full clean driving licence.
