Measham (Derbyshire) – 2 month rolling contract

4 on 4 off (12hr) day and nights – Outside IR35 £ 35ph

The day‑to‑day responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will involve the following.

• You will be responsible for the upkeep of and maintenance of heavy mechanical machinery.
• Reactive maintenance is a priority and will include fault finding and replacing components on a variety of machines such as conveyors, cranes, cookers, slicers, kiln cars, bearings and chains.
• Preventative maintenance will involve project work and working of a CMMS system to complete planned maintenance.
• Installation and fitting of mechanical components.

• Previous mechanical experience within a heavy‑duty industrial manufacturing environment is a must.
• Mechanical maintenance and fitting experience are a must within an industrial engineering background.
• NVQ Level 3 or Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering is very advantageous.
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test.

• Established rolling 2-month contract
• 4 on 4 off days and nights
• Minimum of 48 hours per week available
• Outside IR35
• Immediate start
• Extension is likely
