Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and ergonomic standards within the area of responsibility.
- Contribute to the design of assembly processes and assembly equipment in cooperation with EPM, MPL, and the extended project team.
- Support technical decision‑making related to process optimization.
- Prepare technical and commercial analyses of supplier quotations together with Purchasing to select the optimal solution.
- Monitor the design, engineering, and implementation of assembly equipment.
- Develop functional specifications for project‑specific and standardized equipment components.
- Validate equipment studies, including FMEA supervision, ergonomic assessments, and evaluation of technical alternatives.
- Conduct and support supplier acceptance tests, fine‑tune equipment at the plant, and ensure a smooth handover to production.
- Validate the required technical documentation for each installation.
- Analyze action plans, validation plans, and risk assessments.
- Contribute to lessons learned activities and productivity improvement projects within the Assembly function.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an assembly environment (manufacturing plant, machine builder, or automotive industry).
- Solid understanding of assembly processes, machinery, and equipment.
- Experience in the specification, procurement, validation, and optimization of assembly equipment.
- Knowledge of FMEA, ergonomics, OEE, and cycle time optimization.
- Analytical, structured, and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Self‑driven, strong communicator, and team player.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
