Active Tunnelling on the A42 is seeking an experienced Backup Miner to join a pipe jacking/tunnelling project from 2 November 2026 to 28 December 2026. You will support the Lead Miner and work within shafts and pits, contributing to tunnelling and shaft works while upholding rigorous site safety standards.
The role requires reliable teamwork, strong pipe jacking and underground experience, and a solid understanding of site safety procedures to ensure smooth project execution.
