Job Title – Technical Operator (Maintenance Technician / Engineering Operator) Location – Ashby De La Zouch Salary – £31,500  Overtime  Bonus Shift – Days & Nights (Panama/Continentals)

Job Role – Technical Operator Are you a hands-on Technical Operator looking to step into a thriving FMCG environment? This Technical Operator role offers the opportunity to join one of the UK's largest and most secure FMCG manufacturing businesses, supplying major supermarkets nationwide with a highly sought-after brand. As a Technical Operator , you will be working on high-speed production and packaging machinery, gaining extensive training to develop your mechanical maintenance skills and progress towards fully qualified engineer level.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Technical Operator , including ex-Forces engineers (Army, RAF, Navy), who wants structured training, clear progression, and long-term job security within a growing market leader. Sector – FMCG Non-Negotiable Requirements of “Technical Operator” Basic operator experience Comfortable working at heights (including climbing 20m cranes) Basic computer skills Essential Requirements of “Technical Operator” Hands-on mechanical maintenance experience Strong attitude towards safety and team working Keen to learn, develop and progress within engineering

Desirable Requirements of “Technical Operator” Previous experience within FMCG or food manufacturing Experience working on conveyors, packaging machinery, pumps, motors or automated lines Ex-Forces engineering background (Army/RAF/Navy) Engineering qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent) The “Technical Operator” will benefit from:
