Machine Operative

T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a friendly Company that has expanded over the years. Previous experience isn't required as the Company can offer full training, however the successful candidate must have some Machine Operative knowledge.

• Weekly Rotating shifts
• Mornings - Monday - Friday, 6am-2pm
• Afternoons Monday - Thursday 2pm-10:45pm, Friday 2pm-7pm
• £13.74 - £15.13 per hour (Hourly rate includes shift premium)
• 28 days holiday to start including bank holidays increasing with length of service to a maximum of 33 days including bank holidays

• Loading and operating a machine with some programming elements
• Learning all relevant procedures to be competent enough to build a printed circuit board
• Building PCB in accordance with IPC-610 criteria
• Preparing and running jobs on the SMT machinery
• Preparing components so they can be correctly used on the SMT line
• Operate and program solder paste print technologies (SPI)
• Relay build issues and process related concerns to the production engineers.

• Must have previous Machine Operating experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Confident manner
• Ability to work under pressure and complete varied duties to meet deadlines
