Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00
Friday: 06:00 - 12:00
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Blending Assistant to join their manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is reliable, hands‑on and eager to learn within a production environment.
The role involves working with a variety of chemical‑based products used in the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for accurately blending and handling liquid ingredients, following strict procedures and ensuring all products are prepared to the required specifications.
Full training will be provided, although previous experience within manufacturing, production, blending or working with chemicals would be advantageous.
Main Responsibilities- Follow daily instructions provided by the Blending Supervisor.
- Support the blending and production teams to maximise output.
- Carry out tank cleaning and tank dropping duties.
- Accurately fill, empty and label products in line with specifications.
- Weigh and record products correctly on the relevant paperwork.
- Ensure blending equipment is clean, tidy and maintained in good working order.
- Check that IBCs are clean, fit for purpose and assist with cleaning when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure production targets and service levels are met.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures and quality standards.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by the Blending Supervisor.

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Comfortable working with chemicals and following strict safety guidelines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and safety‑conscious.
- Previous experience within manufacturing or production is beneficial but not essential.
