HGV Class 2 Driver - Measham

Overview

Siamo Group is currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Measham.

💷 Pay Rates: £15.60 per hour (PAYE only)
Rising to £38,600 per annum after 12 weeks

🕒 Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 0600am start, No weekends

• Deliveries and collections to varied customer locations and company branches
• Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Securing loads correctly and handling products safely
• Complying with road transport and traffic legislation
• Conducting vehicle and equipment checks in line with regulations
• Providing professional, timely and courteous customer service

• Delivering a wide range of items to multiple addresses via different routes
• Carrying out daily vehicle, equipment, and load checks and reporting defects
• Completing all paperwork and IT systems accurately and promptly
• Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships
• Working collaboratively with the transport and driving teams
• Maintaining a clean vehicle inside and out
• Driving safely and professionally in accordance with working hours and legal requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1 year checkable Class 2 driving experience
• No more than 3 penalty points (no BA/CD/CU/DR/DD/IN endorsements)
• Strong work ethic - reliable, flexible, enthusiastic and resilient
• Comfortable with handballing and strapping
• Experience using a pump truck and sack barrow (may be required)
