We are seeking a Board-Certified Radiology Physician for a locums assignment in Asheboro, North Carolina. This onsite role focuses on mammography and generaldiagnostic imaging, with light interventional radiology and fluoroscopyresponsibilities.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Setting: Hospital-based, onsite

Responsibilities
- Breast Imaging: Perform and interpret 3D mammography, digital mammography, and breast ultrasounds. Conduct stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies.
- Fluoroscopy Procedures: Supervise and assist with 3-4 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures daily.
- General Radiology: Conduct and interpret routine imaging exams including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
- Light Interventional Procedures (5-6/day): Image-guided biopsies, drainages, kyphoplasty, PICC line placements, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
- No interventional radiology call required.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Radiology
- BLS/ACLS Certified
- Active DEA Registration
- CDS Certification
