Part-Time Clinical Dietitian – Sodexo

Part-Time (24 hours/week) Clinical Dietitian for inpatient care at Randolph Health, a 143-bed hospital in Asheboro, North Carolina – 1.5 hours from Charlotte and Raleigh, NC. Ideal for experienced or new Dietitians.

• Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on inpatient units.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the nutrition care process.
• Provide holiday coverage hospital-wide; one Saturday onsite and one Sunday on-call per month.
• Provide education for interdisciplinary team members, patients, and/or family members.
• Organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

• Registered Dietitian credential with state licensure (LDN) in NC.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal oversight in collaboration with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.

• Minimum Education:
  
  Master’s degree with required ACEND coursework and supervised practice, or Bachelor’s degree with required ACEND coursework and supervised practice for those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24.
• Credentials:
  Must meet eligibility requirements for RD/RDN by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and become registered within 120 days of hire. Must hold necessary state certification/licensure.

  3 years of experienced practice able to work with minimal supervision.
