HR Generalist

In this role, you will be a key resource for our team members, handling everything from onboarding and employee relations to workplace safety, payroll support, and HR systems . Support Our People: Serve as a friendly first point of contact for employee questions regarding standard policies, benefits, and HR systems .

Manage Onboarding & Hiring: Assist managers through the hiring process, coordinate background and reference checks, and manage smooth onboarding using ADP Workforce Now .

Maintain HR Operations: Process, verify, and maintain personnel, medical, safety, and training documentation within our HRIS .

Promote Compliance & Safety: Help ensure legal compliance with federal and state regulations, support safety protocols, and assist with Workers' Compensation and OSHA records .

Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with management and team members to keep job descriptions up to date and support payroll processing procedures when needed .

Education: An Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development is required; a Bachelor’s degree and/or a PHR certification are a wonderful plus !

Experience: At least 1 years of hands-on experience in a Human Resources role (retail-based or equivalent experience is warmly preferred) .

Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now .

Core Knowledge: Familiarity with employment law, employee relations, safety, and training practices .

Personality & Approach: Excellent communication skills, a high level of discretion and confidentiality , and a genuinely friendly, approachable demeanor when working with co-workers at all levels.
