Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced manufacturing equipment operators The primary function of this position is to safely operate various battery manufacturing or packaging equipment within established productivity and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly know and understand the JSHA and follow all safety procedures.
• Operate battery manufacturing or packaging equipment efficiently to meet productivity expectations
• Perform quality checks and record data as required
• Be a self-starter - demonstrate initiative to identify and apply solutions to remove roadblocks
• Demonstrate ownership and willingness to continuously improve self and area of accountability
• Make equipment adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and good housekeeping of work areas
• Always follow all safety standards
• Recognize continuous improvement and 5S opportunities to processes and work environment to improve safety, quality and productivity
• Perform specified operator maintenance as required.
• Assist the mechanic as required when machines are down.
• Complete all reports (production, downtime, quality, etc.) as directed by your supervisor.
• Operators are expected to make constructive recommendations for operations improvement and to help reduce waste.
• Support a team-based environment by helping others, participating in, or the general support of various teams.
• Maintain the work area in a clean orderly manner. Periodically wipe down the equipment.

We we are looking for

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including but not limited to lifting, walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs and ladders
• Self-motivated with ability to work in a team-oriented environment with limited supervision
• Must have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills and abilities

Total Rewards Package

The pay rate for this position is up to USD $22.00/Hr. per hour
