Branch Driver - Asheboro, NC

JOB SUMMARY

Ensure the safe delivery of Dry Ice from our warehouse to our customers. Primary customers are Hospitals, food Processors, medical labs. Drivers are responsible for the Safe and Efficient movement of commercial vehicles owned and operated by Continental Carbonic. This position reports to the Branch Supervisor.

• Safe loading and unloading of Dry Ice containers.
• Practice safe driving techniques on a daily basis while operating commercial vehicles operated by Continental Carbonic.
• Reporting of all accidents and unsafe acts/conditions (near misses) while performing normal duties.
• Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures as well as company employment policies and practices.
• Understand all company standard operating procedures, departmental work instructions, and local work instructions that affect the performance of their duties.
• Log into and maintain all XRS electronics each day.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

1-3 years - Operating a Heavy Duty Box truck with Class B minimum.

• Electronic Logs, Excel, Basic electronic tablet knowledge.
• Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack/Forklift.

Travel is only required for training and is very rare.
