City of Asheville is seeking an Accounting Technician in the Finance Department to process financial transactions, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements with accuracy and efficiency.
The role requires 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with a high school diploma or GED, or 1 year plus an Associate Degree in accounting/finance. Munis ERP experience is preferred. Hybrid work schedule with standard business hours.
