Responsibilities
  • Complete routine scheduled maintenance on automobiles and trucks as directed by a Manager or Service Advisor.
  • Perform basic automotive repair, adjustments, and maintenance procedures, including oil changes, tire replacement and general vehicle maintenance.
  • Perform automotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair orders.
  • Complete fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, advanced repair and maintenance services as needed.
  • Drive vehicles into the service bay, prepare them for service, and complete digital vehicle inspections.
  • Test drive vehicles and prepare them for delivery to customers after necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Keep the shop clean and organized to ensure a positive member/customer experience.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma, GED, or Technical school certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 2+ years of experience repairing vehicles at a dealership or automotive center.
  • Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools, and resources; ability to independently perform basic repairs and maintenance.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Excellent customer service and ability to improve customer service scores.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ASE Certifications (or equivalent) such as A4-Suspension & Steering, A5-Brakes.
  • G1-Auto Maintenance & Light Repair.
  • State inspection certificate where applicable.
  • AC 609 Certification.
Work Environment and

Physical Requirements
  • May experience loud noises and odors in the shop environment.
  • Standing, walking, and normal physical mobility; ability to lift up to ~80 pounds; must have own tools appropriate for skill level.
  • Ability to work in heat in locations without air conditioning; facilities have fans.
  • Must be able to stay on your feet in a concrete facility for the full shift.
Compensation, Benefits, and Perks
  • Pay starting at $42,000 annual; rate based on productivity and annual bonus eligibility; eligible for incentives beyond base pay.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage.
  • Free AAA membership and uniforms/shoes; up to 3 weeks of vacation in year one; 11 paid holidays.
  • Profit sharing and 401(k) with matching contributions, including automatic 4% employer contribution and additional 50% match up to 6%.

Pay ranges are market-competitive and geolocation-based. Salary at offer is determined by factors including job level and location.
