Novant Health Surgical Partners – Biltmore is seeking a BC/BE Surgical Oncologist to join a collaborative subspecialty practice focused on remarkable surgical care located in Asheville, North Carolina. Fellowship trained in Surgical Oncology are invited to apply.

What You'll Do

Every Novant Health team member is responsible for delivering the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time. The Surgical Oncologist will:

  • Perform surgical oncologic procedures with a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in morbidity/mort­ality review and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor residents, fellows, and medical students.
  • Maintain current board certification or eligibility in Surgical Oncology and current state MD license.
  • Adhere to the principles of “First Do No Harm” and the organization’s patient safety culture.
Education and Credentials
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program required.
  • Completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to surgical oncology required.
Licensure/Certification /Registration
  • Current MD license in North Carolina required.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Surgical Oncology required.
  • Current DEA license required.
