Asheville City Schools in Asheville, NC is partnering with NC Education Corps to place tutors at Jones Elementary. This part-time, in-person role supports K-5 students in foundational literacy and aligns with the NC Education Corps program.
Tutors work at least 3 days a week with 1-3 students for 30 minutes each, focusing on phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. A paid initial training is provided.
