The North Carolina Arboretum invites applications for a part-time Horticulture Assistant in the Formal Gardens. You will assist with garden care and maintenance, learning from an experienced horticulture team, outdoors all year. Temporary position up to 24 months, working 40 hours per week in practice with some weekends as needed.
Pay is $18 per hour, with typical schedule Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This role focuses on Formal Gardens but may support other tasks within the department.
