A leading engineering firm in Asheville, NC is seeking a hands-on R&D Electromechanical Prototype Engineer to join their advanced motor/generator development team. This role emphasizes rapid prototyping, precision fabrication, and testing of novel electric machine designs. Candidates should have experience with motors and generators, proficiency in CAD and COMSOL FEA, and a collaborative team-oriented attitude. You will be responsible for fabricating parts, assembling prototypes, and ensuring safety and efficiency in the prototype lab.

Competitive salary range is $100,000 to $125,000 per year.
