Seamon Whiteside (SW+) is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Asheville, NC office for Summer 2027. Applications are being accepted now through Fall 2026.

Requirements

Students should have completed their sophomore year by Summer 2027 and have declared a major in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Support the design of stormwater management, grading, drainage, roadways, and utility systems.
  • Prepare engineering plans and address project redlines and revisions.
  • Assist with permit and submittal packages for agencies and clients.
  • Participate in site visits with the Construction Administration team.
  • Attend project meetings and collaborate with project managers and engineering staff.
  • Support other project-related tasks as needed.
