Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will perform a wide range of cardiac ultrasound procedures in our noninvasive lab, including:

• Two-dimensional echocardiography
• Doppler ultrasound
• Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Stress echocardiography

You’ll collaborate with a team of skilled technologists, RNs, and cardiologists to deliver efficient, accurate diagnostics with a compassionate approach.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have practiced as a sonographer for greater than 2 years
• Required License:
  Must be a Registered Cardiac Sonographer with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers; or be registry eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment. BCLS (Adult).
• Preferred License: ACLS (Adult)
• Required Experience:
  
  Cardiology Echo: 2 years practicing as a sonographer. Physician Practice: 0-2 years experience; will accept new graduates
• Preferred Experience:
  
  5 years practicing as a sonographer
