Job Summary and QualificationsJob Summary:
We are currently looking for an ambitious Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team! As a COTA on our team, you will assist with the coordination of patient-centered and occupational-based goals to ensure diagnostic and therapeutic services and rehabilitation which are provided to our patients. If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity.
Your duties and responsibilities may include:
• Accurately follow established treatment plan to set measurable and achievable goals to reach maximum functional independence for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
• Record, monitor, and review clinical data, providing feedback to Occupational Therapist regarding possible modifications to treatment plan and goals based upon patient performance
• Within scope of practice and under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, adapt recognized therapeutic techniques and modalities to meet the needs of the patient
• Participate in rounding and proactively respond to patient needs to improve patient outcomes and positively affect overall patient experience.
What qualifications you will need:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.
- Associate Degree.
