RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 101-bed emergency department with Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center designation

• Handle high-volume emergency department with over 100,000 annual visits

• Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 typically for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds

• Must work every other weekend with flexible scheduling to meet department needs

• Float to all sections within the emergency department (no floating outside ED)

• 2 years of nursing experience required with at least 1 year in emergency room setting

• Previous HCA experience preferred

• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and provide real-time feedback

• Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS

• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire

• Use Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system

• Follow AIDET protocols and maintain respectful patient experience standards

• Dress code requires navy scrubs

• Support available from techs in cardiac monitoring, triage, and internal processing areas
