Job Summary:

Mission Health is excited to welcome experienced trauma physician assistants to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina.

Qualified Candidates:

* Completion of an accredited physician assistant program with appropriate certification exams

* Requires experience as a practicing PA in a hospitalist, trauma or surgery setting

* Experience with autonomy re: admitting, resuscitating, and rounding on patients

Highlights:

* Work with a large, stable and established group of surgeons

* Surgical Resident interaction and support on trauma; surgical critical care

* 100% inpatient

* Minimum 6 shifts required per two-week pay period

* Day, night and float shifts required

* Shift incentives available for exceeding minimum shift requirement

* Limited OR time, with ample opportunity to perform procedures in trauma bay and on floor
