Base pay range

The Role

As the Executive Housekeeper, you’ll keep all aspects of housekeeping and laundry running smoothly - and ensure high cleanliness standards are met to deliver memorable and unique guest experiences.

  • Make sure all public areas, rooms, and laundry are cleaned according to time, procedural, and detail standards
  • Control expenses through inventory and labor management
  • Contribute to Virtelle’s culture by continually promoting a collaborative, proactive, and interactive working environment
  • Ensure appearance of all department members is clean and professional
  • Know and enforce all relevant safety, emergency, and accident procedures
  • Work with others in the company to produce creative approaches to common goals
  • Maximize team potential with a balanced focus on operations, guests, employee and owner's satisfaction
  • Support the hotel team by being available to assist with challenges and emergencies
  • Represent Virtelle Hospitality with professionalism when participating in work-related activities in the community
  • Respond appropriately with tact and professionalism in all situations
Qualifications
  • 2 years housekeeping experience in a similar-sized or larger property
  • Management and leadership experience
  • Ability to work well in a leadership role with a staff from diverse backgrounds
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Able to thrive individually and as part of a team
  • Well-organized and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to remain calm and exercise good judgement under pressure
  • Ability to manage disagreements between employees
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent understanding of English
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer literacy
