We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented title searcher to join our thriving residential and commercial real estate team. Candidates should be critical thinkers with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicants with prior experience in real estate are encouraged to apply. Compensation will be competitive and based on relevant experience.
Duties- Search, abstract and analyze chain of title and preparation of reports outlining title-related matters.
- Accurately read and draw property legal descriptions.
- Examine deeds, deeds of trust, restrictions, easements, plats, liens, judgments, and other items affecting title to land to determine ownership, encumbrances and to verify legal descriptions of property.
- Maintain organized client files and documentation in accordance with firm policies.
- Desire to work and communicate directly with attorneys.
- Travel to and from courthouses and tax offices.
