Transactional HOA Real Estate Associate Attorney | Asheville, NC

About the Opportunity:
A thriving Western North Carolina law firm is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our Asheville office. This is a high-impact role for an attorney with 3-5 years of transactional real estate experience who is ready to step in and take over the firm's HOA Department. If you have strong HOA experience and want to build a book of business, lead a practice area, and grow toward Partnership - this is your ideal opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and expand the firm's HOA practice

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and residential real estate contracts and closing documents

• Manage closings from contract to completion

• Perform due diligence, title reviews, and resolve title issues

• Advise clients on zoning, land use, and leasing matters

• Collaborate with clients, lenders, brokers, and other key stakeholders

• Engage in business development and networking throughout Asheville and greater WNC

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• Active North Carolina Bar license

• 3-5 years of experience in transactional real estate (commercial + residential)
• Solid, hands-on HOA experience (required)

• Excellent communication, organizational, and client-service skills

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build a practice and grow toward Partnership
