A growing diagnostics organization is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee daily laboratory operations. This role manages technical supervisors, ensures compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and drives efficiency across departments.
Responsibilities- Oversee laboratory operations and staff productivity.
- Manage quality control, compliance, and proficiency testing.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on policies, budgets, and instrumentation.
- Support staff development, training, and leadership growth.
- Lead process improvements, troubleshooting, and operational initiatives.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a laboratory environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma preferred.
